Medical Administrator

As a Medical Administrator, you will provide administrative support to all staff globally within Pharmacovigilance and Safety Reporting teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a global growing team and for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.

Overview of the Role

• Ensuring confidentiality, you will maintain efficient and accurate daily flow of documents in accordance with ICON and Sponsor instructions and operating procedures, within stipulated timelines.
• You will enter information into databases and assist in tracking department activities (eg. Serious Adverse Event tracking, Lab Tracking and other documentation) as appropriate.
• Provide full project admin support as required by the project team - maintenance of project mailboxes, checking in-boxes and forwarding relevant documentation to study teams and other tasks as required by project teams.
• You will assist and support the medical team in the preparation of routine correspondence, organisation of meetings and preparation of presentations/flow charts when required.
• You will take/prepare/distribute minutes of meetings
• Responsibility for scanning and filing of important study information and documentation paper and electronic methods.

Role Requirements

• Previous experience in administration and support
• Computer experience, to include Outlook Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Fluent in English
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage a high workload within a fast paced working environment
• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
• Ability to be proactive, suggest process improvements and use initiative.
