Medical Research Practitioner- PRN/As Needed- ICON San Antonio TX

We are currently seeking a PRN/As Needed Medical Research Practitioner to join our diverse and dynamic team. The MRP will act as the medical consultant on research teams, interact with internal operations and clients, and counsel study participants.
Location: On-Site San Antonio TX
Job Type: PRN / As Needed (Seeking On-Call Availability Monday-Friday 6 AM-12 PM & Potential Saturday-Sunday Morning Coverage)
What You Will Be Doing:
- Participate as a member of the company's medical team by serving in the role of lead sub-investigator or sub-investigator.
- Interact with sponsors and monitors
- Oversee study specific medical/safety activities, ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards as well as company/sponsor SOP's
- Provide medical supervision for clinical studies
- Provide medical and emergency care for subjects and counsel participants regarding diagnostic results
- Complete source documents and clinical data input
- Understand, analyze, and strengthen processes, utilize expert medical knowledge to conduct clinical research studies
Your Profile:
- Masters Degree with relevant Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certification
- 2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, with a solid understanding of medical procedures and patient care.
- Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in conducting physical exams, performing diagnostic tests, and managing patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and provide patient-centered care.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
