Scientist II

As a Research Scientist you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

What you will be doing:

• Operate and maintain either spectral or conventional flow cytometry instruments including cell sorters as required.
• Support the PI to develop pre-clinical complex in vitro/ in vivo flow cytometry panels to evaluate targets and lead candidates.
• Perform simple to complex flow cytometry experiments including data analysis and data compilation.
• Perform lab-based 2D cell cultures and cellular growth assays.
• Work independently in the laboratory with minimal supervision after training.
• Follow company safety practices, including training, lab safety, and record keeping as appropriate.

You are:

• B.Sc. or Master’s degree and 1-5 years of relevant experience in biopharma and/or academia
• Candidates with hands-on experience in flow cytometry and flow cytometry data analysis software will be preferred.
• Candidates with a background in cancer and/or myeloid disease biology are preferred,
• Proficient in scientific computer programs including Microsoft Excel, GraphPad Prism. FlowJo, FCS Express etc.
• This is a laboratory-based position so candidate must work onsite (Wilmington, DE)
