Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist – San Antonio TX on site
We are currently seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our diverse and dynamic team at ICON. As the Senior Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of our facilities to support our business operations.
What you will be doing
- Leading and overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure the reliability and efficiency of facility systems.
- Managing maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Performing regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues, and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinating with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to business operations.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards related to facility maintenance and operations.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in facilities management, engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a focus on preventive maintenance programs and building systems management.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Experience managing maintenance staff and contractors, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards related to facility maintenance and operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
