  • Oversee the collection of the ESRS data points in Workiva including the emissions data from the environment sustainability platform (Watershed). Ensure accuracy and completeness of data while strengthening data processes and controls, documentation and audit trails with business data owners.
  • Draft the annual CSRD sustainability statement and coordinate contributions across all stakeholders.
  • Work closely with external advisors to ensure technical compliance, resolve complex ESRS interpretation issues and support the delivery of key workstreams such as the DMA refresh, CRA actions and policy development/ revision.
  • Establish robust governance, controls, documentation, and timelines to support accurate, auditable CSRD disclosures.
  • Prepare for external assurance and oversee the audit process.
  • Support broader sustainability reporting requirements connected to financial reporting (e.g. EU Taxonomy disclosures and other global sustainability reporting standards)
  • Support other corporate reporting and finance transformation initiatives across the group as required.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • 8+ year post‑qualification experience in practice or industry
  • Strong knowledge of CSRD, ESRS, and EU sustainability regulations with awareness of related sustainability disclosure frameworks impacting financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, governance, and control frameworks with experience drafting sustainability or regulatory reports
  • Exposure to Workiva or similar reporting platforms desirable
