Senior Manager , Medical Writing

As a Manager/Senior Manager Medical Writing you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

General Summary
Oversees deliverables, supervises employees, and provides expertise in the area of regulatory writing, publications writing, and regulatory publishing.

What you will be doing:

• Interviews and selects team members according to sponsor needs. 
• Manages professional staff, has oversight of individual performance and career development. 
• Consults with clients and may provide strategic direction for writing programs. 
• Collaborates with other departments to identify, investigate, and implement new business opportunities. 
• Exhibits working knowledge of appropriate guidelines, regulations, and working practices.
• Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ensures quality and timely production of departmental deliverables.
• Reviews project tasks and timelines and assigns team members.
• Leads project teams in the delivery of services to clients.
• Liaises with other functional managers to ensure consistency of departmental approach within the company
• Provides strategic direction for regulatory writing, publication writing, or regulatory publishing programs.

You are:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of leadership experience in clinical and scientific communications, including 2 years of formal people management experience
• Prior experience in regulatory medical writing
• Experience working in an FSP model desired
• Ability to manage technical staff and enhance individual performance
• Working knowledge of appropriate guidelines, regulations, and working practices
