We are currently seeking a Senior Research Scientist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Research Scientist at ICON, you will play a crucial role in designing, conducting, and analyzing complex clinical research studies. You will leverage your expertise to drive innovative research initiatives, develop scientific protocols, and collaborate across departments to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials that advance new treatments and therapies.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead research in biologic mass spectrometry, specializing in large molecule modalities.
- Independently develops, optimize and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS methods. Familiarity with Sciex, Agilent, and Waters platforms
- Utilize advanced data analysis platforms to interpret mass spec datasets.
- Work across multiple modalities (peptides, mAbs, ADCs, ARCs, oligonucleotides, siRNA).
- Author technical reports, present content at scientific meetings, and contribute scientific publications.
- Drive innovation, exploring emerging technologies in mass spectrometry.
- Manage multiple projects, prioritizing and problem-solving effectively.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements for bio-analytical methods (e.g. GLP, FDA, ICH M10 and EMA)
- Document experimental design, analysis, analytical result and method definition in lab ELN and LIMS
- Highly motivated and experienced in designing and executing innovative research programs in quantitative mass spectrometry.
- Knowledgeable in protein chemistry and quantitation, with expertise in large molecule method development and analysis.
- Passionate about developing new business markets and advancing new technologies.
- Skilled in automation and workflow optimization.
- Proficient in computational analysis of mass spectrometry datasets, integrating internal and public data resources.

Your Profile:
- A thought leader in analytical or bioanalytical chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Highly motivated and experienced in designing and executing innovative research programs in quantitative mass spectrometry.
- Knowledgeable in protein chemistry and quantitation, with expertise in large molecule method development and analysis.
- Passionate about developing new business markets and advancing new technologies.
- Skilled in automation and workflow optimization.
- Proficient in computational analysis of mass spectrometry datasets, integrating internal and public data resources.
- Work effectively with the leadership team to ensure timely advancement of projects to meet timelines
- A strong communicator, capable of presenting complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- A mentor and collaborator, dedicated to empowering colleagues and fostering innovation.
Education + Experience:
- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or Biological Sciences + 6+ years of biopharma experience
- M.S. in Chemistry or Biological Sciences + 8+ years of biopharma experience
- B.S. in Chemistry or Biological Sciences + 10+ years of biopharma experience
