Responsibilities
- Routinely communicate status (progress, tasks, problems encountered and time remaining to complete) to the team and stakeholders.
- Serve as a technical functional manager, providing guidance on technical testing strategies and mentor team members.
- Develop team’s knowledge of quality assurance best practices
- Improve automation test case coverage
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing quality in a compliance related field (clinical, finance)
- Experience developing SMART goals
- Experience Managing both down & up
- Experience managing distributed team with offshore talent
- 10+ years of extending standardized test framework in Java
- 10+ years of experience testing web applications with Selenium
- 5+ years of experience testing mobile applications
- 5+ years of REST API Testing using RestAssured
- 5+ years of CI/CD experience
- Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL DBs (MongoDB)
- Experience with leading and participating in QE automation architecture and design discussions
- Experience developing standards for testing framework (including keyword driven, data driven, coding standards, naming standards)
- Experience with JIRA for tracking user stories and defects
- Ability to work cross-functionally with high attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with management of direct reports such as timesheet approvals, annual reviews etc.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English (written and verbal)
- Experience with an Agile-based organization
- BS/BA in related technical field (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical, healthcare or life sciences background (HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11)
