Software Engineer (ServiceNow Developer)
Work Location: Chennai.
What you do?
Develops ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Configuration Management (CMDB).
Analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements.
Administration of Knowledge Base and Service Catalog.
Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows.
Configure application related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles and access controls.
Integrate ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs.
Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals.
Prepares reports on analyses.
What you need?
Minimum of 4+ years of experience working with ServiceNow
Strong technical skills in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, HTML and CSS
Experience building integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
Design, develop, implement and maintain custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
Experience with catalogues, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI policies, Scheduled Jobs, integration with REST APIs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system.
Experience in writing well designed, testable, efficient code with automated unit test-cases and good problem-solving skills.
Experience with iterative delivery using Scrum, Kanban or SAFe and Jira.
Experience working under Agile methodologies, cadence and ceremonies.
Willing to work in UK time zone.
