We are currently seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Software Test Engineer at ICON, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions that support clinical operations and research processes. You will contribute to the success of our technology initiatives by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software products.
What You Will Be Doing:
Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
Conducting regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
Automating testing processes where applicable to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing efforts.
Participating in cross-functional team meetings to provide input on software quality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, as well as proficiency in programming or scripting languages (Python and SQL).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
