We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Data & Applied Analytics to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Manager, Data & Applied Analytics at ICON, you will be pivotal in leveraging advanced analytics and data science techniques to derive actionable insights and drive strategic decisions. You will lead a team responsible for applying data analytics to complex business problems, ensuring data-driven solutions enhance our clinical and operational processes.
What You Will Be Doing:- Leading and managing a team of data analysts and data scientists, providing direction and support to ensure effective application of data analytics and advanced modeling techniques.
- Developing and implementing analytics strategies to address business needs, including predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization, to support decision-making and optimize performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, IT, and business units, to integrate analytics solutions into operational workflows and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Monitoring and evaluating analytics performance metrics, identifying trends and insights, and driving initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of data-driven solutions.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, and applying this knowledge to innovate and advance our analytics capabilities.
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in data analytics, with a strong background in applying advanced analytical techniques, such as machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization, to complex business challenges.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and developing teams focused on data analytics and applied data science.
- Expertise in data analytics tools and programming languages, such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations and effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
