Join Our Team: Senior Manager - Strategy Development

Are you ready to take your strategic prowess to the next level? Join the dynamic RWS strategy development group and become an integral part of shaping our future success! We're on the lookout for a Senior Manager – Strategy Development who thrives on crafting compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to the unique needs of our potential clients.

As a liaison between RWS Solutions Architects, solutions strategy leads, and proposals and operations teams, you'll be at the forefront of driving our "Win Rate" to new heights. Your mission? Articulate strategic solutions that not only meet client needs but also fuel ICON's objectives in revenue and performance growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on delivering top-notch, client-focused proposals and early engagements within designated timeframes.

  • Champion adherence to our proposal process, ensuring efficiency and excellence every step of the way.

  • Dive deep into client requirements from incoming RFPs, collaborating with operations and proposals teams to design winning strategies.

  • Lead Operations and Proposal Development Associates through the strategic components of proposals, from kick-off meetings to opportunity-specific discussions.

  • Proactively engage operational teams from all functional areas to ensure alignment and maximize strategic contributions.

  • Provide unwavering support to meet proposal submission timelines, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.

  • Stand ready to support bid defense preparation meetings and other client interactions as needed.

  • Contribute insights to enhance processes and tools, elevating the accuracy and quality of our proposals and contracts.

  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, actively participating in departmental enhancements and special projects.

  • Collaborate seamlessly across teams and departments to solve challenges and drive innovation.

  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels, fostering strong relationships and clear understanding.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at minimum 9 years of experience working in clinical research with at least 5 supporting Late-Phase Trials for a CRO.

  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in proposal process development and experience with strategic writing.

  • Candidates should have the confidence to work directly with key stakeholders both internally and external to help drive process forward.

  • Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills and a project management mindset.
