Staff Scientist - Drug Metabolism and Biotherapeutics (DMB)

As a Staff Scientist you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

The Staff Scientist in Drug Metabolism and Biotherapeutics (DMB) will support research projects by helping plan and carry out in vivo pharmacokinetics studies. In this role, you’ll prepare doses, coordinate study schedules, and handle general lab tasks. You’ll also have the opportunity to cross-train and gain experience with in vitro assay support.

What you will be doing:

• Coordination of discovery in vivo pharmacokinetic studies.
• Preparing dose formulations for in vivo studies.
• Prepare Discovery PK Study Request forms, Dose Preparation sheets and review protocols for contracted studies.
• Communicate and manage logistics with CRO partners to schedule large species studies
• Perform general lab functions, preparing buffers, organizing test articles, ordering consumable supplies, etc.
• Conduct in vitro ADME assays, such as intrinsic clearance, protein binding, CYP inhibition and CYP profiling.
• With appropriate supervision, analyze data, record data, prepare summary documents and report data as needed.

You are:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in biology, Life Science, or related discipline.
• 0-3 years of related laboratory experience in pharmaceutical companies or CROs.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience operating analytical balances and manual pipettes.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to effectively multi-task
