We are currently seeking a Study Start Up Associate II – Site Contracting to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Study Start Up Associate II at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in leading the initiation of clinical trials for multiple sponsors, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, playbooks and fallback language, and contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.

What you will be doing 

• Drafting and negotiating different types of site contracts agreements upon agreed process for various countries .
• Negotiating and facilitating budget negotiations within agreed parameters and following established processes.
• Coordinating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary information to kick off negotiations.
• Managing and maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of negotiations progress.
• Providing guidance and support to study teams on site contracting requirements and best practices for study start-up activities.
• Participating in process improvement initiatives to streamline study start-up processes related to site contracting and enhance efficiency.

Your profile 

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, legal or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, additional language knowledge will be an asset.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in site contracting including main agreements, amendments, ancillary agreements and confidentiality agreements
• Strong understanding of clinical trials, including ICH-GCP and legal matters.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
