Treasury Analyst (Spanish Speaker preferable)

About the Role:
ICON is recruiting a Treasury Analyst to join our busy Treasury team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract (for maternity cover), with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position. This hybrid role is based at our Leopardstown Head Office and requires working from the office 3 days per week.

The Treasury Analyst will play a key role in cash management and banking documentation activities.

The successful candidate will also support our Global operations, liaising directly with regional banks and internal stakeholders (including across Spanish-speaking countries in LATAM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing daily cash positions, liquidity across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
• Monitoring and assisting with short-term cashflow forecasting, planning upcoming transactions, and supporting financing activity
• Supporting end-to-end processing of cash, funding, FX and investment settlement
• Coordinating high value, urgent and international payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Preparing and issuing settlement instructions and ensuring all treasury transactions are recorded accurately in the TMS and confirmed with counterparties.
• Maintaining banking documentation, mandates, KYC and assisting with annual bank account review accounts
• Provide day-to-day support to our local entities, liaising with local banks and financial institutions as required.
• Engaging with banking and service providers to implement services and process improvements.
• Preparing and monitoring treasury and liquidity key metrics for senior management with accuracy and clarity
• Maintain and produce compliance reports for SOX reporting.

Candidate Profile:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken), and Spanish (preferable)
• Experience within corporate Treasury, or any relevant financial environment
• Strong communication skills with confidence to work with stakeholder at all levels
• Organization, analytical, proactive and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, and work independently
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables and look ups)
• Graduate in Business or Finance; Treasury qualifications such as ACT (or similar) beneficial but not essential
