Cadaver Use Activity Consultant-Fort Detrick, Fredrick MD, Onsite

Location Position: Fort Detrick, Frederick MD
We are seeking a Cadaver Use Activity Consultant to support the US Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) by ensuring adherence to human subjects protection and cadaver use regulations. This role involves compliance oversight, consultation, and regulatory support for research involving human subjects and cadaver use.
What you will be doing:
- Compliance Oversight – Support staff assistance visits to monitor adherence to human subjects protection and cadaver use regulations. Identify compliance gaps and recommend improvements.
- Cadaver Use Consultation – Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for initial and post-approval cadaver activity oversight and review.
- Regulatory Guidance – Ensure research activities comply with DoD, Federal, and USAMRDC policies regarding human subject research and cadaver use.
- Process Improvement – Assist in refining compliance monitoring procedures and oversight mechanisms.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (Public Health, Regulatory Science, Bioethics, Research Administration, or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in human research protection, cadaver use oversight, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Federal, DoD, and USAMRDC human research and cadaver use regulations.
- Experience conducting compliance assessments and regulatory reviews.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
