As a Clinical Research Associate at ICON for our team in Greece, you’ll work within a large-scale, fast-paced environment alongside a close-knit team of highly qualified CRAs to identify, select, initiate and close-out investigational sites for clinical studies in phases II – IV, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and principles of ICH-GCP.

As a Sponsor‑Dedicated CRA, you will be embedded with one sponsor—working exclusively within their systems, SOPs, and methodologies—while being employed by ICON

Key Responsibilities

• Independently drive site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close‑out activities for Phase II–IV studies

• Prepare regulatory submissions (e.g., protocol, consent documentation for ethics/IRBs)

• Manage site documentation, including Trial Master File and communication with sites

• Handle sponsor-generated queries and promote cost-efficiency in study execution

• Contribute to feasibility assessments and new proposal documentation

You will need:

• 12 months+ of independent monitoring experience in phase I-III trials as a CRA, IHCRA, or experienced CTA ready to step into a CRA-level role.
• University degree in medicine, science, or equivalent
• Previous monitoring experience in medium-sized studies, including study start-up and close-out
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and ability to review and evaluate medical data
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Availability to travel (domestic -fly and drive) and should possess a valid driving license
