Data Integration Developer

Oracle ODI

Summary

Required Experience, Skills, Knowledge

• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant IT industry experience
• Experience in the design and implementation of ETL processes using Oracle ODI (preferred) or similar ETL tool (e.g. Informatica, Datastage, OWB etc.)
• Strong foundation and understanding of Dimensional Modeling, including familiarity with best practice methodologies such as Inmon and Kimball is highly desirable
• Analysis and design of data Integration solutions
• Core principles around interface design
• Understanding of integration transports, FTP etc.
• Advanced knowledge of PL-SQL
• Willingness to Travel (5 – 25%)
• An experienced hands-on developer with excellent oral and written communication skills

Other Experience, Skills, Knowledge

• Relational Database Design
• Experience of data modeling and data modeling tools (Embarcadero preferred)
• Good knowledge of XML and related standards: XSD, WSDL, XSLT, XPath, SOAP, etc.
• Experience across a range of integration protocols and transports, including: HTTP, Web Services, File & S/FTP, JMS, ODBC/JDBC, Change-data-capture and database replication
• Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture Concepts, including knowledge of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and related core concepts
• A strong understanding of designing and building Enterprise integration solutions at
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Data Model and Master Data Management concepts
