I joined ICON in December 2020, and have over a decade of recruitment experience in the life sciences sector including the following: clinical research, medical device, pharma/biopharma, and physicians. With ICON, I support the Study Start Up (SSU) business unit. Study Start Up includes everything that must take place from the first point of contact with the sponsor to the moment that the study team is ready to screen and enroll subjects. ICON’s SSU team is comprised of Study Support Assistants, Study Start Up Associates, Study Start Up Managers, Site Activation Leads, Site Activation Managers, Feasibility Managers and Site Identification Leads. ICON’s Study Start Up department has a clear career path which starts with our SSU Assistants and Associates with room to grow to Manager and Director positions.
