本ポジションは、各部門に分散していた Feasibility / Site Activation 機能を統合し、最適なプロセス設計、効率的なリソース活用、そしてコミュニケーションの高度化を実現するリーダーシップを担います。
日本における臨床試験実施のスタイルをアップデートし、「ドラッグロス」改善への貢献を目指す、戦略性と実行力が求められる役割です。

■背景・ミッション
・部門横断の組織統合によるプロセスの効率化とコミュニケーション改善
IPH、IBT、ICO で行われる Site Activation 業務を統合し、一貫した高品質な運用体制を構築します。
・クライアントニーズ・国内試験環境へ柔軟に対応するためのリソースシェアの促進
日本市場特有のニーズに迅速かつ的確に対応できる運用基盤を整備します。
・「ドラッグロス」改善に資する、日本独自の臨床試験スタイルの変革推進
グローバル基準と国内実態のギャップを埋めるため、新たなオペレーションモデル構築をリードします。

• Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values , and contribute to the “Own It” culture at ICON
• Implement an effective structure, strategies, business/department objectives, and processes to ensure accelerated site activation timelines and highest quality for their region, customer, function or sites. Includes monitoring and improving key performance and financial metrics around reduced cycle times, predictability of delivery, and enhanced productivity, and will comprise oversight of key customer, site, operational or functional activities. Provides strategic and operational leadership across all functional areas, and is knowledgeable in local regulations to act as a senior counterpart to internal and external customers, and ensure growth of their customer and/or region.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on quality, acceleration, and site and client needs. Evaluate changes in the competitive market and regulatory environment to ensure ICON is at the forefront of knowledge and advances, and is providing best in class site activation services. Act as a change agent within and beyond the department to align with corporate and strategic goals
• Lead customers, regional, or functional delivery of accelerated site activations with highest quality standards to exceed customer expectations. Monitor and improve key performance metrics around reduced cycle times, predictability of delivery, and enhanced productivity
• Accountable for resourcing, utilization, forecasting and headcount control, to ensure staffing levels are conducive to operational and financial success. Review study and partnership budgets for proposals and sales as needed.
• Drive process improvement, efficiencies and technological development to meet KPIs and delight customers, sites, and team members
• Act as customer/portfolio, country, regional or functional client liaison and escalation point of contact; resolve customer relationship issues and drive exceptional customer delivery
• Represent FSA at audits and inspections, represent FSA for a client, function, or region on committees and work groups to support the development and implementation of new initiatives and strategic direction of FSA
• Drive Business Development opportunities to support the growth of the assigned portfolio, function, and/or region/country(ies)
• Lead key initiatives, or collaborate on global initiatives, across FSA
• Travel (approximately 20% depending on country structure and direct report levels) domestic and/or international
• Responsible for performing activities that are in compliance with applicable corporate and departmental policies, standard operating procedures and operating guidelines and performing other duties as assigned by the management
