ESG Coordinator - Environmental - Bulgaria, Sofia Hybrid: Office/Remote

We are currently seeking an ESG Coordinator - Environmental to join our diverse and dynamic team. As an ESG Coordinator - Environmental at ICON, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, with a focus on environmental sustainability.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies and initiatives.
  • Conducting environmental assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Monitoring and analyzing environmental performance data, including energy consumption, waste generation, and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Identifying opportunities for energy efficiency, waste reduction, and other environmentally sustainable practices.
  • Developing and delivering training programs to raise awareness of environmental issues and promote sustainable behaviors among employees.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders, including suppliers, regulators, and community organizations, to enhance our environmental stewardship efforts.
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in environmental sustainability or related field, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability principles, with a passion for driving positive change.
