Business Partnering Supervisor
Location:
South Dublin
Description
The
successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and fast
paced role where they will partner with the ICON Clinical Operations team to
truly drive and influence the financial performance of the company.
Job
Functions & Responsibilities:
•Preparation of
monthly forecasts with a focus on ensuring headcount is managed in line with
revenue projections
•Preparation of
monthly reporting packs for operations that are action focused and include
astute commentary
•Ongoing
refinement of headcount revenue models
•Utilize and
disseminate operational metrics to drive financial performance
•Manage one direct
report
•Support the
pre-close review of actuals to ensure accuracy of reported results
•Preparation of
management presentations
•Support the development
and preparation of the annual budget
•Prepare ad-hoc
financial and business case analysis
•Recognize,
exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centers around our commitment to

•As a member of

our business and meeting client needs
Experience,
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
•To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative

•A
minimum of 3+ years of financial business partnering or financial analysis
experience
•Excellent
communication (written and oral) skills, inspire confidence
•Prior
people management experience advantageous but not mandatory
•Ability
to interact with and influence a variety of personnel across the organization
including senior management groups
•Excellent
organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage projects
•Demonstrate
ability in being able to switch between micro and macro view
•Excellent
working knowledge of MS office package, in particular Excel.
•Very
strong focus on accuracy and quality of information provided; attention to
detail
•Strong
quantitative skills
•Analytically
minded, with proven ability to solve problems
•Eagerness
to learn and develop as an ICON employee and member of the CRO Industry
Education
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s
Degree, or local equivalent, in related field or equivalent
•Qualified
Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with relevant post qualified experience
•Some
people management experience is desirable
