At ICON, we have an incredible opportunity for a Finance Manager, Financial Business Partnering to join the team in our global HQ in Dublin 18.

The Role:

The Financial Business Planning group is the departmental financial analysis function of ICON. The department's role is to provide independent, objective financial and consulting services designed to add value, direction and leadership to assist the business in attaining success.

As Finance Manager, you will play an integral part in enabling ICON to accomplish its objectives by bringing a global, detailed, disciplined approach to evaluating finances and strategy.

• Manages a functional area, department or business unit of modest size.
• Handles a departmental team around execution of functional activities and/or operational improvements.
• Strong capacity to communicate actions, implications of data and drive action.
• Must be an excellent teammate and provide leadership to team members.
• Individual and team contributor, responsible for their own & others work within their functional area.
• Perform other reasonably related duties, analysis and special projects as assigned
• Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international.

You will need:

• Qualified Accountant - We are open to both practice and industry trained Accountants
• Degree in Accounting and Finance or Business
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role
• Robust and creative thinking skills.
• Knowledgeable of the dynamics of budgetary deliverables.
• Ability to work effectively with people at various levels of the organization.
• Excellent knowledge of MS office package, in particular Excel.
• International experience highly desirable.
• Proficient communication (written and oral), organizational, and influencing skills.
