At ICON, we have an incredible opportunity for an expert Finance Systems Manager to join the team in our global HQ in Leopardstown, Dublin 18.

The Role

Working in partnership with our Finance function, you will be responsible for our finance ERP systems support and project implementation. This role will be a mix of Oracle R12 Support & Improvement Work Act as level two support for Oracle R12 EBS issues.

• Research and provide solutions to issues reported by the user or other team members.
• Must be able to work closely with the business to address system improvements and process issues.
• Recommend upgrades / patches to the Oracle EBS suite.
• Develop new extensions or configure current modules as needed to address business issues. Document user procedures / processes along with SOX and standard methodologies
• Thoroughly test configurations, business rules, extensions, enhancements / modifications and management of the migration process into the production environment.
• Lead System Integrations resulting from new company acquisitions.

What you need

• 8+ years' experience with Oracle EBS including R11 / R12.
• Degree Qualified with Business or IT Background.
• Accounting Qualification beneficial but not mandatory
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle EBS concepts, systems, software solutions and business modules with a focus on Oracle Project Accounting & Receivables.
• Knowledge of Oracle Advanced Collections helpful but not mandatory.
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate effectively positively with upper management as well as communicating problems to appropriate teams within our organization.
• Ability to partner with senior-level management Strong problem solving and business process design skills with the ability to configure Oracle modules and specify extensions.
• Good understanding of how to operate on Metalink/MOS
