Laboratory Project Coordinator I/ll

ICON plc, a leading Clinical Research Organisation, with 14,000 employees 97 offices in 38 countries. Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Laboratory Project Coordinator I to join our central laboratory in our global HQ in Dublin 18.

The Role:

As Laboratory Project Coordinator I you will provide ongoing support to the team of Project Managers in the day to day monitoring of clinical trials. You will have successfully completed a degree or master’s within life sciences and will have 1- 2 years’ relevant work experience. Confident running and analysing reports you will have responsibility for providing insightful commentary to management. You will also be responsible for creating study documents and any other project related tasks as required.

Responsibilities will include:

• In charge of assisting the Project Management team with the day-to-day monitoring of trials.
• You will be responsible for the generation of internal management reports such as open status reports, commented results reports etc.
• Responsible for the generation of external management reports.
• Responsible for building study documents from templates in the set-up phase of a study e.g. communication I escalation plan, ICOLABS forms
• Performs any other task related to project management that may be require

Experience requirements:

• Degree or Masters in Life Sciences.
• 1-2 years’ experience within a similar role. Analytical thinker.
• Extremely organised – always looking at ways to improve how we do things. Customer focussed and with a mature and flexible attitude.
