Join ICON’s Finance Business Partnering team and play a key role in shaping financial strategy and driving business performance. As Manager, Finance Business Partnering in Dublin, you will join our Order-to-Cash (O2C) division and partner with senior leaders to deliver actionable insights, optimise study financial processes, and support critical decision-making. Your work will directly influence financial outcomes, streamline operations, and contribute to ICON’s continued growth.

What We Are Looking For:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights that support business strategy and decision-making.

• Own the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Provide ongoing financial analysis, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and risks for senior stakeholders.

• Map, analyse, and improve complex study financial processes, including study setup, closure, and revenue recognition across the study lifecycle.

• Lead initiatives to remove backlogs of thousands of studies requiring financial reconciliation with minimal impact on other support functions.

• Build strong relationships with department heads and become a trusted adviser for all key stakeholders throughout the IBT network and other divisions, including Operations, Billing, Project Finance, and Investigator Payments.

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimise financial efficiency, accuracy, and controls.

• Act as a mentor to Finance colleagues to support performance, professional development, and team growth.

• Assist in the development of financial reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing budgets, forecasts, financial analysis, and performance, with exposure to complex process improvement initiatives.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills (e.g., financial modelling).

• Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the business. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and a degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
