Manager, Inside Sales - Remote, US

The Opportunity

If so, we want you to join our Inside Sales team as a Regional Team Manager, where you will inspire and lead a high-performing group of Account Development Managers to new heights.
What You’ll Do
As Regional Team Manager, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a regional team of Account Development Managers, empowering them to grow professionally and achieve their career goals.
- Drive proactive, consultative sales efforts targeting decision makers and influencers within pharmaceutical and biotech companies, positioning ICON as the preferred partner for clinical development outsourcing.
- Guide your team to increase new account penetration, secure meetings with prospective customers, and generate RFP submissions.
- Oversee lead generation and funnel development with an annual RFP target of approx. $800M
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales Leadership to align strategies and execute revenue growth strategies across all business units.
- Design and execute outreach campaigns tailored to regional, therapeutic, and service area priorities.
- Manage and maintain the CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities and pipeline development.
- Serve as an internal trainer and mentor for new hires, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Coach your team on sales processes and lead lifecycle management.
- Champion process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance client value, and drive operational excellence.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately <10%).
