Manager, Quality Control

As a Manager, Quality Control at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
What You Will Do:
You will oversee quality assurance and compliance workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the quality control operations, including the testing and inspection of products to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Leading, training, and mentoring a team of quality control staff to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with production, regulatory, and research teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitoring quality control metrics and preparing reports to assess quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and internal policies in all quality control activities.
Your Profile:
You will have solid quality assurance and compliance experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, quality assurance, or a related field is preferred, with significant experience in quality control or quality assurance.
- Proven experience managing quality control operations, with a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff to achieve quality objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in all processes.
