Metrology (Calibration) Technician - FT Days

Do you have experience with regularly scheduled calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment in accordance with SOP's?

About the Metrology Technician within ICON:

The Metrology Technician will calibrate and maintain assigned laboratory equipment in laboratories, update the calibration schedule and equipment lists as work is performed. Monitor, calibrate and maintain assigned equipment (e.g., freezers, refrigerators, pipettes, balances, water system, thermometers, weights, ovens, temperature and humidity monitors, REES Environmental system). You will act as an escort for the approved vendor performing required external calibration and review calibration notebooks per applicable SOPs/procedures.

To succeed you will need:

We are seeking candidates with an Associate degree, in science is preferred; or high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year relevant calibrations/metrology laboratory experience.

To be successful you will be expected to maintain a strong attention to detail in this position.
