The role:
Provide medical / scientific consultation and therapeutic expertise.
Provide medical expertise and oversight to protocol-related medical and safety issues and communication of medical and safety issues to ICON staff and sponsors.
Coordinate and provide medical training including therapeutic indication training, protocol training for ICON clinical staff, project teams, or during investigator meetings.
Review and approve protocols, case report forms, informed consent forms (when applicable), clinical study reports, and other miscellaneous study documentation, as requested.
Liase with Sponsors regarding project-related medical issues and provide medical consultation.
Represent Medical Affairs in business development activities including general capabilities presentations, bid defences, medical costing estimates, and change order assumptions.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Medical Degree (MD), residency and fellowship trained hematologist-oncologist, preferably with adult solid tumor experience.
Experience with global clinical trials is preferred.
CRO, biotech or pharmaceutical experience, including medical director experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Advanced level of English is a must.
Advanced presentation skills
Strong knowledge of Windows, MS Office.
Willingness to travel internationally (Valid American Visa)
