Payroll Associate - India, Chennai - Hybrid, Office-based

As a Payroll Associate at ICON, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees, contributing to the smooth operation of our organization.

What You Will Do:

You will take responsibility for payroll and compensation deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation, including employee deductions, earnings, and taxes
  • Assist with employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly
  • Work with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data integrity and accuracy
  • Assist with payroll reporting and analysis as needed to cover business needs and assessing alternative resolutions.

Your Profile:

You will bring relevant payroll and compensation experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in payroll processing or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
  • Knowledge of payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Workday) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and soft skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
