As a Research Scientist at ICON, you will lead and conduct scientific research aimed at advancing clinical trials and develop innovative therapies.
What You Will Do:
You will contribute to clinical research activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and leading scientific research projects, including clinical trials, in accordance with regulatory standards and study protocols.
- Conducting data analysis, interpreting results, and generating scientific reports to inform the development of new treatments and therapies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including biostatisticians, clinical teams, and regulatory experts, to ensure the success of research projects.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of research activities and ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
- Publishing research findings in scientific journals and presenting at industry conferences to advance the knowledge base in clinical research.
Your Profile:
You will bring relevant clinical research experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience:
- PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant scientific field such as biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or clinical research.
- Experience in conducting research within the clinical or pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of managing scientific projects.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in data interpretation and statistical analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the strategic direction of research initiatives.
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
