The Pricing & Market Access group generates the most valuable recommendations for pricing products to ensure you can understand and implement necessary strategies to bring your products to market effectively. By delivering robust value strategies, designing efficient pricing and market access infrastructures and processes, and providing tailored client training, you will be prepared to act on any value-based pricing activities. The unique strategic approach to P&MA combines experiential assessment with rigorous quantitative analysis and research.

 

This role is part of the ICON’s Commercialization and Outcomes Division (ICO). The responsibilities are to recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center on our commitment to People, Clients and Performance. As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs. Provide support to the P&MA Senior Management Team in implementing business strategies. Lead project delivery of medium to large sized domestic and international projects. Lead discussions with sensitive market stakeholders. Lead client communications such as project status, client meetings and final presentations. Achieve high client satisfaction and repeat engagements.  Also demonstrate and actively promote an open and honest working environment to encourage close teamwork, foster knowledge transfer, and provide clear direction to all employees.

 


Role Requirements

  • Significant experience working in a health care consultancy or Pharmaceutical/Biotech commercial strategy experience, particularly in pricing, reimbursement or product valuation.
  • Industry experience global or regional level (pricing, forecasting, more general commercial strategy), managed care or reimbursement policy, consulting or related experience (strategy consulting to healthcare industry, market research) that supplements an advanced degree.
  • Significant experience in driving business development and strong network in market access with demonstrable experience managing projects and teams at a pan-European or global level through to successful delivery
  • Prior experience managing a team and mentoring junior staff members is required.
