Translation Project Manager

We are looking for passionate, resilient, and inspiring individuals to join our team. As Translation Project Manager you are responsible for the coordination, execution, control and completion of single service projects ensuring consistency with ICON SOPs, service-line best practices, project contracts and budgets

The role

• Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centers around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance

• Travel (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international
• Lead the planning and implementation of single service projects
• Define project tasks and resource requirements based on project plans
• Assemble and coordinate project resources
• Manage project budget
• Plan and schedule internal project timelines
• Develop and Manage Risk Mitigation Strategies for projects
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide direction and support to project team
• Quality assurance
• Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Project evaluations and assessment of results
• Other duties as assigned

What you need

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or local equivalent in Languages/Translations or related field
• Fluency in English both orally and in writing with excellent communication skills - Native level English is required for our project management roles
• Process-driven and strong attention to detail with superior organizational skills
• Strong team player
• Exceptional customer service
• Experience in managing multiple, varied tasks simultaneously and independently
• MS Office Suite
• Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in the translation industry, preferably in project management of linguistic validation projects
