Manager, Facilities & Administration - Ireland, Dublin Office-based

Reporting to the Global Director of ER&R and Physical Security, the 'Physical Security Specialist' is responsible for the implementation of ICON’s Physical Security Policies, Procedures and Technology Specifications in ICON locations throughout the world. Be the subject matter expert for Physical Security technologies, Physical Security and related Safety Awareness Training. The Physical Security Specialist contributes significantly to the creation of, and compliance with, security procedures, standards, policies, specifications and training in ICON globally while driving continuous improvements in Physical Security in all locations.
Detailed Responsibilities:
• The Physical Security Specialist is responsible for delivering physical security technology programs, training and strategies globally, responsible for providing on-going support, analysis, planning, implementation and deployment of access control infrastructure (both hardware & software).
• Acting as a subject matter expert for Physical Security Technologies, the Physical Security Specialist will work closely with the Facilities Projects teams and Security System Integrators in designing, engineering, implementing, commissioning physical security including Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm & Alarm Monitoring in ICON locations globally.
• Responsible for delivery of Physical Security related training programs such as Workplace Violence, Security Awareness & Loss Prevention in all offices globally and serves as a key point of contact for regional Physical Security matters including: incident investigation, analysis and response and audit compliance.
• Working collaboratively and developing excellent relationships across multiple departments and with multiple stakeholders, this role serves as a key central point of contact for Physical Security for all levels of management in ICON.
Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (security system integrator, security, criminal justice, electrical engineering, etc.).
• Physical Security Professional (PSP) certifications preferred.
• Experience with monitoring and assessing the performance of the global physical security systems.
• Ability to lead security related communications, promotes security awareness, uses communications channels to facilitate the distribution of time sensitive security information.
• Able to analyze global security systems architecture and processes to identify critical gaps and strategic value opportunities:
- Incident response.
- Managing a regional or global systems budget, vendor relationships, and reporting metrics.
- Design of Physical Security Systems & Technologies in the workplace.
- Training delivery.
- Audits and compliance.
- Policy, Procedure and Strategy writing and implementation.
- Project Management – significant experience in working on Physical Security technology implementation in construction and fit out projects.
