The Role:
Ensure that all IT Applications for ICON Imaging and Cardiac Services are developed, maintained, supported and governed to ensure overall fitness for purpose in line with ICON IT Governance and Control objectives.

- Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international
- Oversight and Direction of the following sub groups:
- Imaging Engineering Team
- Cardiac Engineering Team
- External vendor resources
- Overall responsibility for release management of Imaging Applications*
- Overall responsibility for necessary integrations between all imaging and ancillary systems
- Liaising with Director of IT Business Partners and Senior members of the Imaging Management Team to ensure solutions are fit for purpose now and into the future.
- Manage department budget in line with organizational guidelines
- Measurement through the use of internal tools to identify areas for business training, process improvement and system modifications to improve productivity and reduce error rates
- Member of global IT Applications management team driving improvements in how Applications are delivered and supported within ICON Imaging and ICON globally
Management
- Evaluate performance of direct reports through interim and annual reviews and monthly 1:1 meetings
- Support direct reports in establishing and accomplishing mutually agreeable goals that contribute to the success of the organization as a whole.
- Train and mentor direct reports
To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:
- At least 5 years of experience in Clinical Trials or related areas is preferable.
- At least 8 years of experience in system development, implementation & support
- At least 5 years of experience in a manager level role or higher
- Demonstrable expertise in the area of System Delivery Lifecycle and IT Governance and Control principles
