ICON Plc has an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Treasury Professional, which will involve working with a dynamic and expert treasury team focused on making an impact globally and supporting ICON’s mission – to help its clients accelerate the development of drugs and medical devices that save patient lives and improve their quality of life.

The role sits in our HQ in Leopardstown, Dublin, and is a hybrid working role. The eligible for the role, the candidates should be within a commutable distance of the office to allow for hybrid working.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Here’s a tightened, de-duplicated version with clearer grouping and less repetition, while keeping everything you need for a role description:

• Coordinate and support group cash management, including short- and long-term liquidity planning and analysis of forecasted cash positions.

• Lead global banking initiatives and manage relationships with partner banks.

• Manage intercompany loans and funding flows, supporting structured transactions, ensuring compliance with financing agreements, and performing related financial analysis.

• Oversee treasury systems enhancements, documenting procedures and designing and implementing new treasury workflows.

• Prepare, review, and issue periodic treasury reports, dashboards, KPIs, and policies.

• Maintain a strong treasury control environment, ensuring compliance with liquidity, funding, and risk management frameworks.

• Support project management activities and provide treasury guidance to the wider business.

• Assist the Treasury Director in evaluating and presenting investment and hedging proposals to senior management.

• Develop strong cross-functional relationships with regional and non-finance teams to support decision-making.

• Support the development of talent and expertise within the treasury team, fostering a customer-centric, collaborative culture.

Key Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience working in Corporate Treasury team or 8 years’ experience working in banking related role. 
• Qualification (MBA, finance related Masters) and/or professional qualification (MCT/AMCT /ACA /CFA) preferred (relevant Treasury qualification would be a distinct advantage).
• Experience of delivering new products and process improvements
• Team management experience required
• Ability to build positive relationships with non-finance departments
