Bio
I’ve been working at ICON for the past seven years, since 2007 and my current role is as SAS Lead 1. I was selected to work at the company following a boot camp and I’ve never been disappointed to have been chosen.
I came to the industry with a background in engineering so I initially found working in a different domain quite challenging and it’s always been an incredible learning experience. I learn new things in my job every single day. I still think of myself as a student of SAS and there’s never a dull day. I always think of the phrase “when you know better, you do better” – I enjoy learning to do better.
I’ve learnt during my time here that I have strengths in team building and training. I work to beat deadlines and I’m also increasing my understanding and skills in development, validation processes and the development of Macros. ICON has provided me with the chance to improve my skills and to become more well-rounded.
