Bio
My role is a Clinical Research Associate and I can honestly say that my favourite part of the role is the people I work with, hands down. As a CRA this is the first job I’ve ever had where I feel totally supported not only by my peers but also by my superiors. I have weekly interactive meetings with my team and my line manager and they’re always there for assistance, guidance and support when I need them.
I’ve been offered numerous opportunities which I’ve seized to get experience in therapeutic areas, which I find fascinating. I’ve also been training new hires and I’ve received training in several different EDC , TMF and CTMF systems. I joined up with ICON because a former colleague was working there and was so positive about it, so I felt like it would be a good fit for me. I’ve noticed that there are people here who’ve been working in the company for 10-15 years and as a newer team member I find this very reassuring. I like that people who work at ICON take pride in their work and have the mentality that any job that’s worth doing is worth doing right!
