Bio
I was originally drawn to ICON by the opportunity to work for them on global and oncological studies, as well as the fact that they were very well-known internationally and have an alliance partnership with Pfizer. I previously had 5 years of experience in the industry and have a Bachelor of Science Degree which have both proved to be useful in the year that I’ve been working for the company. I have found since I’ve been working here that I've had the opportunity to increase my oncological and global knowledge as well as being supported in improving my communication skills in English.
I find the atmosphere at ICON relaxed – it is easier to take a vacation here then it is for my contemporaries working in other similar companies. If you are motivated to do something, then you will be supported by those around you and given opportunities. I find working with people of various ages and nationalities to be very helpful – we support each other on a global level, with training and IT issues. The people I work with are hardworking, highly-motivated, passionate and flexible and this is the key to be the sort of person that works for ICON.
