• Recognise, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centre around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
• Be familiar with all aspects of the 3D animation Role, and other platforms relevant of the job.
• Work with the Pharmacologist team to gain an understanding of any complex content within scripts.
• Work in collaboration with the Pharmacologist team to create storyboards that clearly and effectively explain the content both in a clear and visually precise manner.
• Using agreed storyboards, create videos that are instructionally effective, that present the study in an engaging manner, flow well, and hold the learners attention throughout.
• Implement client edits and, where possible, use these edits to identify potential product improvements.
• Develop 3D graphics for other Firecrest products and complete these to a high standard and finish.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Firecrest approach to creating 3D models/animations
• Mentor and help train new members of the team, where required.
• Help foster a culture of creativity and ingenuity.
• Ability to function within a team environment.
• Contribute to process improvement and product enhancement, with a focus on streamlining our processes and meeting client needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as 3D Generalist
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in VFX and Animation for TV/film
- Highly proficient with 3ds Max
- Highly proficient with VFX related tools; particles, fluids, rigid/soft bodies, cloth, hair etc.
- Proficient with TyFlow, Redshift or V-Ray
- Good eye for color, lighting and composition
- Photographic knowledge or experience
- Attention to detail
- Highly organizing skills
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and quick turnarounds
- Self-driven motivation to run the extra mile to improve with each project
- Max script experience is a plus
- Unreal Engine experience is a plus
