We are looking for Account Directors to join our winning team rated by Forbes as America’s best mid-size employer for 2017!

 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who is a creative and strategic thinker to maintain and build client relationships in our Western US business.  The Account Director is responsible for providing strategic insight and direction to improve or gain access and reimbursement across a range of healthcare channels.  The role of an Account Director is to collaborate with clients to develop or improve targeted strategies and tactical execution.  This position will engage in market research, landscape assessments, product access strategy development, competitive intelligence, pricing and reimbursement analysis. In addition, marketing solutions to gain, improve and/or communicate access and reimbursement for our client’s product.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with clients to develop a deep understanding of their strategic goals and objectives
  • Understand the current landscape the client’s product(s) is operating in and provide analysis of problems coupled with potential solutions
  • Understand current trends in the managed markets environment and stay abreast of developments that will impact the client’s product(s)
  • Guide research on key markets, industry sectors, competitors, and market trends
  • Outline strategic options for clients and assess the company's implementation readiness.
  • Guide and inform the development of market landscape presentations, market entry strategies, product positioning strategies and value propositions
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to inter-disciplinary and extended support teams
  • Develop, maintain and nurture long-term partnerships with clients

 

To Succeed You Will Need: 

  • 3+ years experience in pharmaceutical /healthcare environments with an emphasis on account management skills
  • High-level service skills, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with budget responsibility
  • Strong organization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have working knowledge of software programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Advanced degree preferred (eg MBA, MPH, PharmD)

The ideal candidate will also have experience working in one or more of the following:

  • Marketing and/or sales capacity within the managed markets function of a bio-pharmaceutical company
  • Experience working within a managed care organization
  • Management consulting within healthcare practice
  • Market research consulting firm
