Account Executive (Technology-EU)

Summary

ICON Clinical Research is looking to strengthen its successful Business Development team through the recruitment of an Account Executive with responsibility for a European territory.

As an Account Executive you will be responsible for promoting ICONs enterprise and technology solutions throughout a Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology client base.  This will particularly focus on highlighting and demonstrating the value of our Firecrest suite of solutions to existing and new customers alike.

Working cross functionally, you will ensure a smooth process at all stages (e.g. proposal, bid defence) which maximises the opportunity for success.  You will build strong relationships throughout your geographic responsibility, highlighting ICON’s knowledge, capability and other USPs – promoting ICON as the partner of choice in drug development.

As a leading global CRO we are looking to recruit an individual who can drive relationships and seize growth opportunities, building upon our existing strategic partnership arrangements and networking throughout the industry for future partnership opportunities.

To be successful in this role you should have a background in solutions selling, specifically for Technology or Enterprise Solutions. Experience within the Pharma/Biotech/Med Device sectors a distinct advantage. You will be a results orientated professional with a proven track record of building sustainable business relationships with blue chip customers.
