Account Leader, Market Access and Reimbursement

Yardley, PA

  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of existing business for the Company’s benefit as well as generating organic growth opportunities through existing client relationships. Manage existing projects and ensuring liaison with client and Company staff is efficient and effective for both parties.
  • Manage existing relationship or newly acquired relationship with new client(s) in the range of $2M - $2.5M
  • Ensure financial trackers are kept up to date for ICON and client purposes (monthly and weekly)
  • Ensure clients are billed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Complete resourcing grids/reports on a regular basis to ensure ICON staff are being utilized effectively. Participate in regular resourcing meetings for future planning purposes.
  • Collaborate across other teams in the division to develop new project types and to utilize shared resources in an effective manner.
  • Responsible for the development of proposals and project budget estimates for organic growth
  • Conduct review of proposals from Client Engagement team prior to finalization to ensure specifications are accurate and pricing is appropriate
  • Participate in business development activities including assisting with RFP responses
  • Monitor client needs and ensure team is working effectively and efficiently to execute projects according to specifications of project and ensure contract requirements are met
  • Assess project issues/risks and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and client goals
  • Recognize out of scope activities and proactively communicate with client to ensure client approves budgetary and timeline implications
  • Work across the ICON organization to optimize teams and services to help drive productivity and cost control
  • Provides expertise and consultation to project teams and clients as needed in order to influence development strategies
  • Work collaboratively to develop new processes and procedures as needed.
  • Maintains a positive, results-oriented and engaging work environment.
  • Communicates to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner.
  • Work with junior project team members to provide mentorship and training

  • As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
  • Travel (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international.
  • Other duties as assigned

Other Experience:

  • BA or commensurate experience required
  • 10- 15 years’ experience with increasing responsibility
  • Familiarity with market access industry
