ICON is currently recruiting for an Associate to work in our Global Patient Insights & Engagement group.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

o   Project start up –  day to day management of timelines and recruitment strategy review under guidance of a Director/Senior Director.

o   Client KOM and weekly/biweekly status meetings – responsible for scheduling, drafting/updating agenda, drafting meeting decks or status updates, taking notes, circulating notes after meeting with the aim to take on leading status meetings with clients

o   Secondary Research – Owns all secondary research and drafting of deliverables (including leading meetings and  presenting as needed)

o   Project Execution (IDIs etc) – Ownership of scheduling, follow-up logistics, mailing materials, draft screeners and discussion guides/activities, primary notetaker on calls and begin to conduct interviews (with oversight), manage transcription service on a project level, initial data analysis/interpretation and report drafting

o   Operations - ensure Box is up to date for a project, mail stipends, general task/project tracking and day to day project management

   

Education, Experience & Skills:

 

-       Educated to minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Life Science field

-       Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience (e.g. preparation of client reports, agenda development, timeline management, budget management, revenue tracking)

-       Previous experience in a client facing role (internal and external clients)

-       Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT ( SalesForce a plus)

-       Preferred experience in clinical, late phase, outcomes (CRO and agency experience is a plus but could also consider experience from investigator site if it included engaging with patients)

-       Preferred experience in area of patient recruitment, advocacy and other patient groups engagement

-       Ability to travel for workshops, client meetings, bid defenses

-       Experience supporting business development activities is desirable but not mandatory

-       Experience in instructional design is an advantage
