Clinical Data Entry Sample Processor

ICON plc, a leading Contract Research Organisation, employing approximately 13,500 employees across 97 offices in 38 countries, seeks a highly motivated Clinical Data Entry Sample Processor

to join the Sample Management team at its Leopardstown Global HQ.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.

The Role:

As Clinical Data Entry Sample Processor, you will join a busy sample management team tasked with the unique responsibility of receiving valuable human specimens to our lab. In this role you will ensure that all samples are received in good condition and that their details are entered into the system accurately and that they are stored correctly. This is a vital and important role at ICON so attention to detail is required as well as a mature outlook for the impact you will make in a clinical trial.

Role Responsibilities:

Receiving all samples to the lab
Ensuring that all deliveries are correct and escalating any issues to your supervisor
Data Entry of all information to our lab database
Barcode all specimens for accurate storage
Ensuring that all specimens are stored correctly

You will need:

Leaving certificate / equivalent
Excellent attention to detail
The willingness and motivation to be involved in a process that directly makes an impact to our patients lives
