Clinical Data Programming Lead - Belgium 
 
ICON is proud to announce the new partnership with one of the top Pharma’s in Europe. This new team will be based within the client’s offices based in Wavre with a dual mission “to help people do more, feel better and live longer.  Both organisations join together with a strong science and technology focus to deliver best in class solutions to the healthcare industry.
 
As the Clinical Data Programming Lead you will participate in the data management technical aspects of Clinical or Epidemiological studies which includes the development of specific tools to collect, monitor, clean and report study data.

As the Clinical Data Programming Lead you will be responsible for:
  • On time delivery of programs and for program quality
  • Database set up including definition of clinical tables, columns and code lists
  • Creating data set and program specifications as specified by the study requirements
  • Executing programs and generate clinical data outputs to according to study/client requirements
  • Reviewing of CRF annotations and supporting documentation produced by other programmers and clinical data managers
  • Participation in the testing of clinical data system upgrades
  • Working in partnership with the client to build the relationship and contribute to ongoing process improvements
 
As the Clinical Data Programming Lead you will need:
 
  • Educated to degree level in Information Systems or similar experience in the field.
  • Proven experience in a clinical data programming position with a clear understanding of EU guidelines (ICH –GCP)
  • 2 to 5 years experience in a clinical data management department
    • SAS programming (SAS Base/SAS Macros)
    • Oracle/SQL or equivalent
    • Clinical Data Management Systems (CDMS)
  • CDISC-SDTM knowledge
  • Ability to manage complex projects and timelines to meet the sponsors needs
  • Strong team player with experience of working with teams across all levels and geographies.
