Clinical Data Science Associate

Functional Knowledge:
•Working knowledge of clinical data science activities (Data review, risk management & analytics, clinical systems).
•Working knowledge of project management, including the predictive elements of timelines, resource requirements and financial tracking
Business Expertise:
• Understanding of protocol content and interpretation of critical data and data review requirements
• Ability to react and adapt requirements, processes and timelines in an agile manne
•Tracks and keeps functional management and those responsible for project management informed of any issues that might affect project target dates, scope or budget and escalates potential problems effectively and in a timely manner.
•Works independently and with other project leads, as needed, to negotiate timelines and key deliverables with clients and/or external customers and departments.
•Understand project level revenue recognition/forecasting process and provides input regarding actual and forecasts units/hrs (revenue and resources) to the CDS PM.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as required
• Travel (approximately 15 %) domestic and/or international
Leadership:
•Functional Team Lead and primary point of contact for internal and external project team for CDS.
• Typically 0-2 years of experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education and experience stated.
•Strong leadership and project management skills.
•May facilitate as " Data Review Team Lead" role.
Problem Solving:
• Use existing procedures to solve basic problems; analyze information and standard practices to make judgement calls.
Impact:
• Establishes approach and leads resources to achieve operational and strategic plans. Impact is based on medium-term goals.
Interpersonal Skills:
• Interpret data to deliver messages. Requires objective review of difficult work problems, obtaining cooperation or approval.
