Consultant, Pricing and Market Access- London, UK

ICON’s Pricing and Market Access (PMA) Group is our consulting division specializing in innovative strategies to identify, capture and communicate value for companies in the biopharmaceutical arena. We are uniquely positioned to deliver expert guidance in integrated global pricing, reimbursement and market access strategy due to our depth of experience and the active engagement of our senior leadership. 

Overview of the Role

·       Responsible for taking personal ownership for client delivery, assisting in business development activities and supporting company growth initiatives

·       Take an active leadership role in regional projects including the development of project plans and the timing and quality of deliverables

·       Lead staff in preparation of client material such as kick-off meetings, workshops, and presentation of results

·       Participate in the development and implementation of primary and secondary research tools including, but not limited to, the creation of qualitative research discussion guides, quantitative research survey guides, and the collection and distillation of data from these tools

·       Opportunity to obtain experience in the four practice areas of the division, including Portfolio Advisory services, Pricing and Market Access, Value Communications and Commercial / Go-to-market Strategy

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a health related subject
• Demonstrable experience in pricing, forecasting, more general commercial strategy, managed care or reimbursement policy, consulting or related experience (strategy consulting to healthcare industry, market research)
• Demonstrable knowledge of pricing and reimbursement content, issues, and methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

This is a permanent, full time position based in our offices in London, UK. The salary is competitive and negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
