Contracts Manager - Clinical Trials

Location: Australia (remote)

As a Contracts Manager you will play a key role in improving the lives of patients by accelerating the development of our customers' drugs and devices through innovative solutions.

You will be partnering with one of our global biopharmaceutical clients; a science-based company with one of the most exciting product pipelines in the industry, focusing to find cure to fight Cancer. This global pharmaceutical client develops breakthrough innovative medicines to improve and extend the opportunity to build your career in a rewarding customer-focused environment that supports creativity, collaboration and performance.

What you will be doing:

• Serve as the primary contact negotiator for all study related contract activities to meet the business objectives
• Maintain active/frequent communication with internal/external partners and/or investigators and internal departments regarding research contracts throughout the contract lifecycle
• Review and negotiate the terms and conditions for various types of incoming and outgoing contracts and budgets in accordance with internal policy and ICH-GCP regulations
• Oversight/ leadership of a Contracts Negotiator team
• Prepare subsequent contract amendments, note to files and other contract activities, as needed
• Develop and maintain status trackers, prepare start-up and close-out documentation for studies

You are:

• Extensive previous experience (5+ years) working within a CRO/pharmaceutical organisation negotiating clinical trial agreements with sites
• Leadership experience preferred 
• Exemplary communication skills including a fluency in English
• Excellent planning, prioritization and organization skills
• Ability to work as a team and develop relationships with others internally and externally
• Proactive attitude, perseverance and commitment to continuous development
• Oncology experience is highly regarded
